Our content is community driven, so please feel free to support our project and write some reviews or help us to fill in the missing devices out there! Our goal is to create the most comprehesive non-commercial catalog for electric self-balancing wheels for everyone!
We are a proud supporter of the WAVE Tropy 2016 from 10th till 18th June 2016! With our Team eWheels (43) we are driving from Bremerhaven in North Germany down to Geneva in Switzerland. The trophy leads us through many interesting places where we demonstrate the capabilities of electric micro mobility, which nicely extends the benefits of electric cars for the last mile - especially where 4 wheels arn't able to go! You can find the routes and stations where we stop at www.wavetrophy.com and follow our team at Twitter @eWheelsDE!
Our team consists of Rouven Volk and Nick Rauter in a Nissan Leaf, sponsored by Nissan Deutschland exclusivly for this event! Thanks to Louise Palmer and his great team we are able to attend this year, a situation which we wouldn't have accomplished so easily without their support!
Plenty of students were visiting our WAVE stop in Hueckelhoven, Germany this Morning. Beside a huge fascination for the 65 teams with electric cars, they enjoined the opportunity to test our eWheels as well! The WAVE Trophy 2016 is a great chance to demonstrate the electric mobility of tomorrow, but we still have to face multiple challenges. Especially a dense infrastructure of fast charging stations is missing, so we have to plan our tours very carefully. Otherwise we would end up with a standard powerplug, charging with 10A for multiple hours, but this would just gives us the chance to have even more fun with our devices and let people try them by themselves!
